Treasurer Volunteer Opportunity
Could You Help Guide the Society’s Finances?
We are currently looking for a volunteer Treasurer to join Petersfield Society’s committee and play an important role in supporting the organisation’s future.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to use their financial, bookkeeping, or organisational skills to support a respected local charity and community organisation.
The Treasurer helps ensure the Society remains financially well managed, sustainable, and able to continue its work for Petersfield and surrounding villages.
The role includes:
Maintaining oversight of the Society’s finances:
- Preparing simple financial reports for committee meetings
- Managing income and expenditure records
- Supporting annual accounts and reporting requirements
- Advising the committee on financial matters
- Helping ensure good financial governance
- The workload is manageable and support will be available during any handover period.
You do not necessarily need previous charity Treasurer experience — we would be very pleased to hear from anyone with relevant financial, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience who is interested in contributing to the community.
