Jubilee Clean Up Sat 28 May 2022

Petersfield Society will be launching a Clean Up for the Jubilee on Saturday 28 May at 10.45 at United Reformed Church, College Street, Petersfield GU31 4AG. The goal is to get every part of Petersfield, and the surrounding villages, cleared of litter during the week before the Jubilee celebrations. It’s possible to take part even if volunteers are not free to come to the launch event.

The event on Saturday is to welcome volunteers, get everyone kitted up and agree with them the areas they will clear at their convenience during the week. There will be a group litterpick on the day for those who wish, as well as refreshments and a team photo. Regular volunteer Damian Hinds MP will be taking part, as well as many of the local councillors. Everyone of all ages is welcome – whether they have joined before or whether this will be their first time. Petersfield Society have special small sized, high quality, British-made ergonomic litterpicking kit to lend to children too.
