Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Society’s 2024 AGM will take place on Thursday 20 June, at 19:30 in the United Reformed Church Hall, College Street.

Reports by the trustees will be made on the main areas of activity undertaken by the Society, along with the current financial status, and we will undertake the formal election/re-election of Trustees and Officers. Members will also be asked to approve amendments to the Constitution to simplify the structure and make it more fitting to today’s environment.

We would encourage all members to attend – whilst an AGM sounds like a formality it is an important part of the running of the Society and we need your participation as members to ensure the future existence.

If you have any specific business that is appropriate to the wider membership, we would welcome your input in advance of this Annual General Meeting so that we can include it in the agenda. Please use the Contact page to get in touch.

If you would like to be more involved in the running of Petersfield Society, we would welcome your involvement.

After the formal business there will be a talk by a member of the Petersfield and District Beekeepers Association.

We will also be awarding the annual Owl Award and Commendations to local projects, individuals and companies, highlighting notable contributions to our vibrant town, details of which will follow prior to the meeting.

Light refreshments will be available.
